We utilize nothing less than premium materials that are biodegradable and are all approved by ANSI (American National Standards Institute), to ensure our quality. Biography of Jonathan Burton
Jonathan E. Burton, founder of Exclusive Tile Concepts, utilizes his artistry gift for conceptualizing ideas, designing and installing elegant styles of tile that add beauty to your home or office.
In 1980, he became a student at Springfield Clark Joint Vocational School, where he received his Masonry Trade Certificate. In the same year, he became a member of Union Ceramic Tile, Terrazzo, as a helper for Local #72. There, he served as an apprentice under, Mechanic, Warren T. Moore for 3 years doing commercial jobs, including several malls throughout the country.
In 1983, after relocating to California and joining local union #11, he worked for Bayshore tile and also Mercury Tile. In 1988, he began his own business as J.B. Tile and Company, and worked with local contractor, Liberty Construction, which serviced commercial jobs like McDonalds, as well as others.
In 1994, he transferred to Local #4, where he received his Tile Setters Certificate. In 1998, he received his Contractor’s License. Exclusive Tile Concepts was founded in August 8, 1988, formally known as J.B. Tile & Masonry, and has serviced the L.A. and Orange County area for 11 years installing tile in both commercial and residential. Commercial installations include restaurants like McDonald’s, Jack In The Box, El Taco Mexican, along with others locations like UCLA, Tectron, and Balboa Yacht Club.
Around 1993-1994, Exclusive Tile Concepts office was relocated to the city of Brea in Orange County, California, where the focus began residential tile, marble, and granite. During this time, he began to work with contracts that did a lot of insurance work, such as water and fire damages. He served in the field for about five years beginning in 1999.
